High School Intensity Calls the SWAT
How intensified could high school basketball get? For starters, it's big enough to get the SWAT team to disperse the crowd that got out of hand during a Carter vs. Kimball (Dallas schools) game hosted at the Ellis Davis Field House.
The game was halted with 5:04 remaining in the fourth quarter where Carter was on top, 60-57.
It is a good thing that there were no serious injuries but what's alarming is the riot amongst high school students. These are people that should have a lot of fun while playing the sport, promoting camaraderie, team spirit, team work, etc. I would understand that these guys also play with passion and a high level of intensity; but when the SWAT is involved, there is no excuse for such behavior.
Both of these Dallas' schools should do a better job educating their students.
