Thirty-six students ages 9 to 17 have descended upon the Yacht Club at Atwood this summer in two, one-week sessions where the participants camp for a week and learn the basics of sailing. They learn to rig, sail and race a boat as well as sportsmanship and the skill and strategy involved in racing as they work towards several races in the Fall and the big Harvest Moon Regatta next year.
