They are comparing him to MJ to hype the fans. MJ could be a much better passer than Lebrun if he wishes to be that guy but he was the utility man. If he was ask to be the point guard ( Like he did a whole season) he can do that too. If you need him to rebound he can do that too, if you need him to finish the game whether during the regular season or game 6 in the finals he can definitely do that. You can say that about LeBron though.

Pros pro . He had at it all , clutch , great defender (how many players in the league today can play both sides of the ball like MJ) , can shoot , pass. Put fear in the opposing team . He was just the greatest . Played all his regular season games , never wanted to take a game off ( lebron takes notes ). Then have the intelligence to handle the media and speak well & showed respect to his opponents. Don’t think the league can ever have a spokesman like mike again . I can go on and on about this man

Remember this game. The Knick’s lost it before the tip off when Oak groveled up to MJ for dibs on his smelly sneakers. Jordan might has well peed around MSG, his territory, as his 55 asserted his uninterrupted dominance over the hapless awestruck Knicks. The Knicks would never beat MJ again in a game that counted but Oak got his shoes.
