  1. Kinda feel bad for the dude. So much talent, he could easily make some receiver on the Titans have over 1000 yards, but it looks like it might all go to shit because he'll be sacked 40 times over the course of the season.

  2. Jameis and Marcus' highlights show you one thing. Drafting Heisman QB's is a great idea but it will hardly make any immediate difference if you don't have a decent pass blocking O-Line. Especially for these Spread QB's because most coaches are gonna think, "oh these guys know how to shred coverages of all sort, so let's toss the rock and let them do their thing." That sounds great until you realize they only have 1.5 seconds to get the ball out on a 5 step drop pass.

  3. what a horrible pick for the Titans though, I mean they truly did fuck up with this pick.  Nothing really against Marcus, I think one day he could be alright but to take him 2nd is just ridiculous, especially with them not REALLY needing a QB.  Ok I lied, something against Marcus…. he ISN'T a franchise QB (yet).  This isn't the Andrew Luck sweepstakes where you know that the guy is nearly a polished product out of school.  The Buc's pick is only slightly more acceptable, they too will suffer tremendously for their waste of a draft pick.  This was a weak year at the QB position and reaching for a QB is a waste.  BPA always the way to go…..

  4. the way I see it, if you draft a guy who might be the best in the  draft at QB you need to draft(or pick up) talent to make him the best in the league like what the colts did with Andrew Luck they got T.Y. Hilton beefed up their O-line and pretty much made him great his first year playing

Marcus Mariota this year and Derek Carr last year(could make an argument for Teddy Bridgewater too) had nothing on their offense to work with at all.

  5. I notice with Winston and Mariota " highlights" the pocket collapsed after 4 seconds when they had time to drop back it was a perfect pass. There just on horrible teams

  6. Mariota is kind of like peyton. He is very smart but he is not a tackle breaker by any means! Titans need to really step up the O line and Mariota will start making some more great plays!

  7. I cant help but feel bad for the guy, his line is trash. When the ball got hit from his hands you could tell he was thinking,"What the fuck just happened"

  8. These are his highlights lol he threw one okay ball and one to a receiver standing still open by like 5 yards and had a sack and a fumble and someone made these his highlights lol what a joke

  9. The O Line is one of the most important units in football. A quaterback will be at their best with a good O Line. Mariota and Winston have below averages protection. So I'm worried about them.

  10. They should give him a full half to work with in week 3. Really let him manage the game. Give him a chance to adjust to the difference in pace, timing…etc. in the NFL. Let him take a few sacks. He's a fast learner.

  11. Alright so my team is the bucs and week is Bucs vs Titans (Winston vs Mariota) And I have to give the win to my bucs. both of are not as good but we have Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans for Jameis Winston to work with while Mariota struggles to find any receiver.

  12. I feel real bad for the guy. He's the only chance for the titans to become a good team. All of the pressure is on him and his line needs to practice blocking.

  13. How about we all just stop with the opinions and watch how they both pan out. They've had their moments of good and bad. Getting lost in the what ifs is just silly.

  14. Like Jake Locker, Mariotta is getting the tar beaten out of him. This kid won't last. Locker was one of the toughest players at QB ever, but had to retire because of horrendous injuries. The Titans kill QBs – I give Mariotta 2 more years. The look on his face says it all. He's not having fun. Hopefully the firing of the HC will change this broken record. Mariotta was phenomenal at QB in college, but he is too fragile for the NFL. Just like RG3. The game is nasty and without a great OL, QBs are running for their lives. I wish Marcus the best – he's the classiest player in recent years to have come out of the most unclassy school(Oregon), but this will be just like his predecessor(Locker never had a chance – terrible OL, 5 OCs in 4-years, cheap GM, etc.).
