Cormier has to fight a legit fight before retirement
Injuries in MMA aren’t always worrisome but Sean having two lower-extremity blow outs in his first 5-6 UFC fights is very worrisome.
Stipe throughly won that fight and it wasn’t the eye poke. That was the most frustrating performance from him I’ve ever seen and he still won completely. He totally abandoned the body shots and kicks, he was fighting DC’s fight aside from the 5+ minutes of holding him against the cage and doing nothing. I don’t know what his coaches were doing but I didn’t hear them urging him to switch it up at all. DC wants you to trade head shots and that’s most of what Stipe did after round 1. Almost every body shot Stipe actually threw and landed made DC pause for a moment. I know you can’t just sit there and throw body shots over and over but he completely took it off the list of things DC needed to worry about.
Great to see that Dana has had the complete opposite reaction and gameplay to COVID that his presidential pal Trump has had. That’s why they’re succeeding, they’re doing the opposite of what him and his supporters have done. Safety and logic works wonders.
