Mike Francesa Fired at Iguodola then Praises him as a Winner

in NBA

Mike Francesa New York’s #1 and host of WFAN-AM blasted Iguodola during the Game 2 NBA Finals between the Toronto Raptors and Golden State Warriors.

At 8:07 PM on Sunday June 2 he has this to say — “Iguodala has absolutely nothing. Sad to watch. Series setting up well for Durant to be a hero.“:

In the last few seconds of the 4th quarter Iguodala fires and makes the 3-point shot that put the Warriors ahead by 5 sealing the win for the defending NBA champions.

Mike cameback and tweeted more than 30 minutes after his first take on Iggy — “Iguodala has absolutely nothing. Sad to watch. Series setting up well for Durant to be a hero.”:

And calling Iguodala a winner the second time around “Give GS credit but that was one ugly game. Iguodala can’t move any more but he is a winner.”:

People are quick to forget when players are on a downhill but quickly change gears with a single crucial shot. Iggy is the 2019 NBA Finals MVP, the clutch player who won Golden State Warriors a lot of games finished with eight points and added 8 rebounds and six assists.

Iguodala age is catching up but he is as cold as ice during clutch and he is not yet done.

Steve Kerr Positive in NBA Finals 2019 Despite Kevin Durant Injury

in NBA

After losing Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals, Steve Kerr was asked about Kevin Durant and his reply says they got enough,

“It doesn’t matter until he’s out there, So if he’s out there, he’s pretty good, but if he’s not out there we play with the guys we have and we have got enough. We have won the last, whatever, six games without him, fixe, six games. So we have enough, but you play with the guys who are helathy and you go. so we’ll see what happens.”

For everyone who is against the Golden State Warriors they would hint that Steve Kerr is sending a message that Kevin Durant is not needed.

However we know that is not the case, Steve Kerr

would have the same answer regardless who is injured as he doesn’t want to give the other team a lot of confidence and he would want to send a message of positivity to his team, fans and his opponent.

Let us not blow this out of proportion, Kevin Durant is a Warrior and he will back in rotation having the same importance as everyone in the organization.

Former US President Barack Obama is welcomed by the Toronto Raptors as he attended the Game 2 of the 2019 NBA Finals vs the Golden State Warriors.

Barack and Raptors president Masai Ujiri are good friends from Ujiri’s work with the Giants of Africa as well as being together during trade talks with Kawhi Leonard.

However, it is unclear if Obama is supporting the Raptors since he also has a strong bond with Stephen Curry who has supported Obama-led charitable programs and having visited him after winning the 2018 Championship title.

The crowd chanted MVP for Barack Obama including a standing ovation when he was shown in the jumbotron, a very nice and warm gesture from Toronto.
