We saw this last year when he took over as a Walk-On after Tyler’s tragic suicide and he stepped in and led a team and fanbase in shock and that was hurting to an Alamo Bowl victory and gave us hope. Always have been a fan of Minshew and always will be. Found myself watching JAX’s opener and when Foles went down I turned to my wife with Minshew warming up and told her that Nick Foles will never see that job again if he’s out for this game. After watching him last year in Pullman she agreed. Something about that kid. He is a born leader and a guy who doesn’t take himself or his job overly seriously. He just has fun playing the game and that is what makes him great.
