You absolutely do not beat the champ by landing fewer punches and not being truly dominant yes he fought good but not good enough
How would he know how to beat Jon when he didn’t? How about not letting it go to the judges? How about knocking him out like a true champ dominates? Let’s talk about foot work, balance, and unexpected strikes causing damage. Jon isn’t even the best anymore. He’s slowly degressed in his years and has absolutely no knock out power.
