Love it Brian. Also note that Lamar only took one “big” hit this game. Hightower on a 3rd down stopped him short and gave him a shot – pocket passing QBs get hit more in a game I feel like. All year long he has done a great job at protecting his body , took the most hits in Bengals game, you can see such a difference from his first start to now – so much stuff he does better. Ball protection, avoiding hits , etc. love my QB!!!
as a 49er fan i recognize so many of these plays, especially the pistol plays. They say what the 49ers could do, even to them by almost beating them on the last play of the super bowl, with the infamous hold on michael crabtree saving them from losing. They couldn't stop the 49ers in the 2nd half at all after they made adjustments(and the blackout everyone remembers.) They realized they played against the future and beat it. He literally creates his own play action based off the fact he can always run or throw till the line…making it so much harder for any of the defenders to gues run or pass. The long runs on the outside that keep people guesing who the hand off is even going to with other always misdirecting, its mathematically SO HARD to keep all the running gaps filled/passing lanes covered. Its also hard not to think this is if not the best one of the top 3 offenses in the league. What Kap had in his special ability, and the best defense in the league ni ners dominated, here is the clone that has a qb with much better passing instincts then Kaps 49ers offense..
